Who is Pilates suitable for?

Our Pilates Classes are suitable for people of all ages. Our classes are available to beginners and those who have done it before.

Our Classes are aimed for people who have previously struggled to do Pilates and those who want to develop their skills in Pilates, learning how to perform the exercises correctly with individual attention, building their core strength and flexibility in an enjoyable and relaxing way.

Our classes are carefully structured, you will receive constant attention, correction and encouragement. When in the studio, hands on realignment will guide you even further into the correct movements and postures.

Even if you suffer with back and neck pain, recovering from an injury or operations, long-term conditions such as arthritis and those worrying about exercising due to chronic pain and stiffness you will benefit from our Pilates classes as it is observed by a Physiotherapist who understands your condition.

You will need to have an assessment (Postural MOT) which is complementary once you have become a member and signed up to your first block of classes, this is where the therapist will take a full history of your problems, fully assess and analyse what exercises will be best for you and when the exercises will need to be adapted for your particular condition.

You are constantly monitored by a Physiotherapist so you know you are only doing what is safe, the exercises should be pain free, you will be given an alternative exercise if you struggle with one, so you are still able to participate and get the most out of your class.

If you have any health concerns, such as a health condition or an injury, please contact us to book your Postural MOT.
