Physiotherapists

Vickie Cork. MCSP. SRP. Physiotherapist.

I’m Vickie Cork and I qualified as a physiotherapist from Manchester University in 1998 with a BSC (hons) Physiotherapy. I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and a member of the Health Professional Council. I have been trained as a Pilates Instructor, in the Bobath principle and specialise in the Core Stability and the re-education of Normal Movement patterns.

I worked in the NHS after graduating up until establishing Able 2 Physio in 2010, working as a Locum for eight years. That gave me a wonderful opportunity to experience many NHS hospitals and different physiotherapy departments and specialities, gaining new skills and experiences from each one. I learned what services I wanted to be able to provide taking the good points from each post. It also gave me the opportunity to concentrate on the patients needs rather than the NHS needs and limitations, which made me realise I wanted to set up my own practice so I could provide physiotherapy to the standard I wanted and that you, the client deserves.

I am one of the lucky ones who loves her job, and it is actually more than just a job. I am passionate about physiotherapy and love solving the problems that have occurred within your body. I think I sometimes get more excited than my clients when they achieve part of their goals. I have had many successful outcomes from my treatment, please read my Testimonials page for more details.
